1. Acknowledgement of Voluntary Participation

I understand that participation in PNW patrols is completely voluntary, and I do so at my own risk. I am not entitled to any compensation and am not acting as an employee or agent of PNW.

2. Risk Acceptance

I acknowledge that patrolling carries inherent risks, including the possibility of injury, vehicle damage, or encountering criminal elements. I agree not to intervene directly in criminal activity, and will report incidents to SAPS or the designated control group.

3. Indemnity Clause

I hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Paradyskloof Neighbourhood Watch, its committee, coordinators, and affiliates from any claims or liability arising from my participation in patrols, except in the case of proven gross negligence.

4. Use of Personal Vehicle and Equipment

I accept full responsibility for the use of any personal vehicle or equipment during patrols. I understand PNW will not be liable for any related loss or damage.

5. Adherence to Code of Conduct

I confirm that I have read and agree to abide by the Western Cape Code of Conduct for Neighbourhood Watch Members, including no vigilantism, no discrimination, and respect for the law and community.
